Route 25 will take you to the city of Sierra Gorda, while you can visit the town of Mejillones via coastal Route 1 which joins Antofagasta with Tocopilla.

Located 25 km (16 miles) north of Antofagasta, the modern Cerro Moreno Airport is an entry and exit point for visitors to the region.
